Hours –37 (Rota between hours of 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday)
Fixed term contract (or secondment) for 12 months
Location: Hybrid (Home, Council House or sites across the Borough)
We are looking for two Mobile Service DeliverySupportOfficers to join our service desk team, providing a comprehensive, customer focussed range of services to our customers at Council premises across North and South Solihull, including the build, installation and technicalsupportof devices such as smartphones, printers, desktop PCs and laptops.
As a Service DeliverySupportOfficer, you will:
* Assist with the process of issuing and collecting devices across key council locations including Council House, Bluebell Centre, Endeavour House and Chapel House
* Assist with technical projects including the implementation and installation of new systems, major system upgrades and replacement programmes.
* Manage and maintain process for delivery/availability/collection of Mobile Devices across multiple sites.
* Support to the Call Handling Team, providing technical guidance and advice to ensure Service Level Targets and that KPI’s are met.
You will have:
* An ICT related qualification such as an HNC (or equivalent) OR the ability to demonstrate through extended relevant experience, the necessary specialist knowledge to undertake the full range of duties.
* Significant experience of working with hardware and software and dealing with customer inquiries
* Experience in supporting devices using Microsoft 365
* Knowledge and experience of working as Desktop/ IT Support Analyst (or equivalent)
* Knowledge of android tablets, smartphones and Total Mobile

Hours will be worked on a rota basis around the service desk which runs between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
