Proof of Manchester Residency: Roles at Grade 1 to 3, traineeships, or apprenticeships will initially only be advertised to Manchester residents and internal candidates. DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Clearance: This post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013). Appointable candidates will be required to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Role Overview: The centre Assistant role is varied which will include reception and admin duties. Using IT on a daily basis, completing accurate data entry. Working across other centres, ensuring official management of general maintenance and security of the building, such as opening and locking of buildings, safety checks, and risk assessments. Completing day-to-day tasks, setting up rooms for service delivery, which may involve moving tables and chairs.
