What is the role?
Are you passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences? Do you thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment? We are looking for a dedicated Store Manager to lead La Gare, a bar/café concept located at Eurotunnel.
La Gare offers a delicious range of cooked breakfasts, pastries, sandwiches, paninis, and more, alongside a fully operational bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. As Store Manager, you will be at the heart of the day-to-day operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional service while driving the success of the business.
We are seeking a leader who shares our vision for excellence and teamwork. Working closely with our Operations Manager, you will focus on La Gare’s performance with an opportunity to support other Food & Beverage outlets at Eurotunnel.
Main Duties will include:
* Operational Excellence: Manage the store’s daily operations to optimise profitability, drive sales, and maintain high standards of service.
* Team Leadership: Build and inspire a high-performance team culture, providing coaching and development opportunities for your team.
* Guest Experience: Ensure that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience that reflects our core principles.
* Financial Management: Take accountability for P&L, stock control, labour management, HR, and payroll responsibilities.
* Compliance: Uphold company standards for food safety, service quality, and consistency.
The right candidate will:
* Have proven experience as a Store Manager in the hospitality sector (minimum 3 years)
* Be passionate about leading and developing teams to achieve operational and service excellence.
* Demonstrate strong financial acumen with experience in managing budgets, stock, and payroll.
* Have excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
* Exhibit outstanding leadership and communication skills to inspire and guide your team.
* Be enthusiastic about creating a positive guest experience and maintaining high standards.
