MANE are looking for an experienced Electrical Contracts Engineer to join their client, a leading M&E company that operates all over the UK on commercial and industrial projects.
The client carries out work within Temporary site services; experience like this is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all projects under your supervision.
2. Ensure project delivery within the set budget.
3. Maintain ongoing customer and client satisfaction.
4. Effectively manage daily allocation of labor, materials, and equipment to optimize efficiency.
5. Ensure all work meets required quality and safety standards.
Main Tasks:
1. Deliver projects consistently in alignment with the scope of work.
2. Communicate regularly with site project management and attend meetings as needed.
3. Prepare risk assessments and method statements before starting work.
4. Review labor and resources regularly with the Contracts Manager.
5. Coordinate closely with the Site Supervisor on workload and labor needs.
6. Continuously monitor the quality of installations.
7. Oversee on-site safety standards and report on housekeeping practices.
8. Manage daily activities of on-site operatives, subcontractors, and apprentices.
9. Plan duties to sustain workforce efficiency.
10. Ensure all managed workers are competent for their assigned tasks.
11. Notify the Contracts Manager of any required training.
12. Ensure activities comply with the CMS (Construction Management System) requirements.
13. Aim to enhance service quality by identifying potential improvements in current systems.
14. Take responsibility for personal health, safety, and environmental impact.
Qualifications and Experience Needed:
1. City & Guilds in Electrical Installation / NVQ Level 3.
2. City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing Certification.
3. Site Management Safety Training (SSSTS).
4. Extensive experience in a Site Supervisor role.
Salary: £45,000 per annum - £50,000 per annum + Pension, Annual Leave, Medical & Pension #J-18808-Ljbffr
