Temporary Purchase Ledger Processor - Falmouth - Circa £22-26,000
Trial Balance Consulting have been engaged by one of Falmouth’s largest employers who urgently seek to recruit a Purchase Ledger Processor to join them on an interim basis, commencing ASAP. The role is full time and the duration of the contract is anticipated to be 3 months.
Joining a finance team of approximately 20, the successful candidate will join the organisation at a particularly busy time, working closely with the Finance Team. Key focus of the assignment includes:
1. Act as an initial point of contact for supplier enquiries and liaise with colleagues across all remits and service centres to resolve issues.
2. Creation and location of invoices ensuring appropriate VAT status and invoice coding.
3. Ensure payment authorisation of supplier invoices.
4. Assisting with month-end procedures.
5. Assisting with AP system process improvements.
For this opportunity, we seek an ambitious and confident applicant who possesses at least 6 months of recently gained experience in a general ledger position, ideally within a high-volume environment. This is a fast-paced department that will call for strong multi-tasking and exceptional internal/external communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
