We are looking for experienced Support workers to support our clients in East Sussex.
Job description:
• To make each day the person you support have a positive outcome for them.
• To help maintain the individual’s skill level and to develop new ones.
• To support individuals, live the life they want to lead, make decisions, have as many choices about their lives as possible and be supported to take appropriate risks.
• To support individuals access facilities in the local community and take part in activities outside of their home.
• To support individuals, look after their health and take any medication.
• Help individuals with personal care (e.g. washing, bathing, shaving, going to the toilet)
As a support worker, you will need to:
Have excellent communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Provide the best practice of care to individuals.
Good time management skills.
Ability to work independently using initiative and equally, as part of a team.
Ability to support individuals that may challenge, calmly and effectively, including implementing clear boundaries when required.
Qualifications (Essential)
Willingness to complete Induction and relevant Mandatory Training.
Commitment towards own professional and personal development.
