Team Leader/Supervisor Trichord

Job role:
As Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the operation of all digital printing production and their post processes. You will ensure the manufacture of products safely, cost-effectively, on time, and to the required quality standard. You will be responsible for managing digital printing equipment, Product Data Coordination to include template storage, Infor, and other relevant systems such as Microsoft Teams. You will handle the New Product Information process of first article approval, supply/liaison with Marketing and/or suppliers, and product status management.

A hands-on forward thinker, who can drive and mentor team members, be supportive, flexible, and responsive in a pressured environment, will excel in this role. A can-do attitude to drive change and improvements is crucial.
Responsibilities:
* Capability to solve all types of technical issues related to sample, size set, production, etc. with the printing machine.
* Ensuring that products meet set requirements and specifications (colourfastness, durability, accuracy, etc.).
* Ability to work independently to design, execute, and document digital printing experiments.
* Inspect and examine the coordination of the printed products with the quality team for print clarity, colour accuracy, and knowledge of quality standards, procedures, and ISO’s.
* Conformance to specifications and external defects.
* Responsible for components of variable data printing, including creative aspects and print production.
* Ensure proper maintenance and security of printing software, database storage, and related documentation and manuals.
* Check products for suitability.
* Take responsibility for the storage of prints and other works in production, monitoring and maintaining records of usage, monitoring and reordering stock, and working within a given budget.
* Collaborate with Material Managers and Developers to test innovation opportunities and identify solutions to meet innovation objectives.
* Bring recommendations and ideas on what is possible with technology and keep up to date with trends and innovations.
* Willingness to travel for system and software training.
* Willingness to collaborate with Denman to assist design and NPI.
Essential Criteria:
* Ideal candidate to have 1 year experience in a similar printing role.
* Experience of planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
* Provide advice, training, and support to team members; this will include designing and implementing personal training programs for an individual, as necessary.
* Conformance to quality specifications and external defects.
* Graphic experience within Photoshop, AI, or similar packages.
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience of ERP systems.
* Understanding or experience using current print tools.
* Understanding of scheduling planned maintenance and troubleshooting of operational issues.
* Working knowledge of lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, TPM, 8D reports, and SPC.
