LendingMetrics’ clients cover a huge range of consumer and commercial lending products, resulting in a broad range of approaches. Each approach requires detailed understanding and analysis.
We are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Analyst (CRA) to help deliver analytical solutions as part of our Adaptive Risk Consultancy. CRAs will also help design and document sophisticated credit risk decisioning processes for lenders across multiple verticals.
The CRA will become part of our Solutions Department supporting a number of critical areas of the business. The primary focus of the CRA will be to deliver true credit risk analysis for ARC clients, collaborating with the existing analyst and data engineers to establish a catalogue of trusted credit risk analysis models using AI and Machine Learning. The CRA will have regular, detailed discussions with ADP clients to create tailored decision engines. They will demonstrate product features as part of a training process for new and existing clients, helping new clients get live while using our services to their greatest potential. The CRA will also work closely with our developers to help drive product development.
LendingMetrics will provide comprehensive product specific training, working closely with our Head of Solutions, Senior Business Analysts, Sales Team, Developers, and Project Managers.

Summary of Required Experience and Qualities:
1. 2+ years' experience working in a credit risk team for a UK based lender or insurer
2. Advanced understanding of Excel for analytical purposes including VB Macros
3. Ability to discuss and present analysis professionally and coherently
4. Experience working to data compliance regulations such as GDPR, POR and PRAAD
5. Ability to discuss and analyse typical Credit Risk data such as Credit Reference Agency data & scores, AML, KYC & anti-fraud data
6. Good knowledge of credit risk decisioning, scorecard development and credit risk strategy including application of models for ECL, EAD and LGD
7. Familiarity with key statistical/analytical techniques and processes
8. High level of administration, organisational and time management skills
9. Ability to use initiative, prioritise, manage own workload and anticipate the needs of others.
Summary of Desirable Experience and Qualities:
1. Experience implementing and reviewing Business and Systems processes
2. Understanding Open Banking Data and knowledge of the Open Banking process for consumers
3. Knowledge and awareness of Finance regulations including IFRS9 and consumer duty
4. Experience working with Credit Decisioning platforms such as FICO OM, Power Curve, GDS & Porvenir
5. Experience using statistical software such as R, SPSS or Python, for analytical purposes.
6. Experience formalising data visuals in Tableau or PowerBI
7. An undergraduate degree or higher in a numerate discipline, or science with an emphasis on primary research.
