Seasonal Park Wardens – Ribble Valley Holgates Ribble Valley Holiday Park is located in the heart of the Ribble Valley just outside the town of Gisburn and provides an idyllic location close to the towns of Clitheroe and Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales. Holgates Ribble Valley Holiday Park offers holiday home ownership, Touring Caravan Pitches and a fleet of caravans and Lodges available for hire. Who are we looking for? We’re looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Park Warden couple for the 2025 summer season who will assist in the up keep of the Holiday Park, completing daily inspection and cleaning of our freshly refurbished facility Block, housekeeping of the Holiday Hire fleet, working shifts in our on site bar, and welcoming and checking in our Holiday Guests. We want someone that will be able to answer questions from our both our Holiday Guests and values Holiday Homeowners. This is a live in position, with accommodation provided on park. What hours will I work: 40 hours each week, to include evenings, weekends and school holidays March to October 2025 Location: Ribble Valley, Lancashire. Rate: Negotiable dependent on experience. Who will you report to? Park manager Main Responsibilities Cleaning and maintaining, to the highest standard, our touring facilities, caravans and holiday home sales units. Welcoming touring guests and escorting them to their allocated pitches and being the welcoming yet professional face of the park, greeting them and pointing out the locations of the on-site facilities. Welcome in Reception all holiday guests, seasonal touring customers and holiday home owners, being knowledgeable about the park, the nearby area and our support services. Ensure that customers and guests receive an efficient, friendly, consistent and personalised service. Perform on-call duties, including site and/or alarm call outs, site & security checks and facilities checks outside of normal working hours. Taking telephone queries and bookings via bespoke park systems. Working in the site bar, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. Basic Cellar Management such as changing barrels and performing stock rotation as required. Assist in the running of, and maintenance of, the food outlet from running orders to assisting with cleaning. Assisting Management in any sales functions upon request. Delivery of holiday home gas bottles under Health & Safety guidelines and recording thereof. Deal with conflict management of any situations that may arise at any time, including out of hours on-call periods. Reporting to Senior Management in detail any situations, persons and resolutions or further appropriate actions, with support of Management to achieve a favourable outcome. Perform a variety of groundwork, job sheet work and maintenance checks & duties as instructed by the Park Manager and/or Senior Warden, Liaise with customers daily, investigating, handling and resolving any issues/customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner. Participate in and be actively involved in promoting park facilities, products and activities. Qualifications / Experience: Essential A full UK driving licence Customer service experience Adaptability, flexibility and attention to detail Desirable Previous Holiday Park Warden experience is desirable Previous trailer towing experience is desirable What are the Benefits?
