HR Officer Dursley £30,000 - £34,000 p/a Full time, office-based We’re recruiting for a motivated and organised HR professional to join our client’s small and friendly team. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day HR activities as well as other long-term projects such as pay reviews, appraisals, and ongoing employee training and development. The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar role and will ideally possess a professional qualification in HR (e.g. CIPD Level 3). Responsibilities include: Processing new starters, movers, and leavers in the business Sending offer letters, drafting employment contracts, and setting up employee files Gathering new starter documentation such as right to work, tax documents, and references Issuing letters pertaining to changes in employee contracts or warning letters Updating and maintaining the HR database Attending disciplinary hearings and taking notes/minutes Answering HR queries including reference requests for previous employees Recording employee absence and holiday requests Assisting with collating payroll data for the external payroll company Producing monthly and ad hoc HR reports Supporting HR projects as mentioned above Due to the nature of this role, previous experience in a similar position is required.
