Pertemps are currently working for a fast-growing organisation based in Glasgow who have a requirement for a Language Speaker to work in their busy finance team. If you are fluent in either German or Italian and looking for a new challenge, this could be the role for you. The client offers a great salary and fantastic benefits. Salary is up to £29k depending on experience.
Hybrid working available - 3 days per week in the office.
Duties will include:
1. Mail sort & OCR validation
2. Mailbox management & query resolution
3. High volume invoice processing - complying with country specific requirements
4. Ensuring accuracy on all VAT and tax postings (e.g., withholding tax) in line with local legislation
5. Process manual & automatic payment runs
6. Management of key suppliers to maximise discounts & maintain smooth running of production
7. Vendor statement reconciliations
8. Regular review & maintenance of vendor open items
Experience required:
1. Understanding and experience of working with basic accounting principles
2. Previous finance experience
3. Fluent in English + other European language
4. Administrative experience
