Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems. This role involves working on various plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks in both residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
1. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
2. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing problems efficiently and effectively.
4. Assemble and install valves, fittings, and other plumbing components.
5. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform tasks.
6. Perform heavy lifting as required for installations or repairs.
7. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects.
8. Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
Skills
1. Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and tools.
2. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during installations.
3. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
4. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands.
5. Experience in welding is advantageous for certain plumbing applications.
6. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations may be beneficial for transporting materials or equipment.
7. Capability to assemble various plumbing components accurately and efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £17.93-£35.00 per hour

1. Hand tools: 1 year (preferred)
