This role requires someone with a keen technical understanding, a flair for written communication, and the ability to support the bid writing process in a dynamic, engineering-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create compelling, clear, and technically accurate bid responses for tenders and proposals.
2. Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure the content aligns with the technical scope.
3. Leverage your understanding of internet/network-based solutions to ensure all technical aspects of the bids are communicated effectively.
4. Mentor and guide less experienced team members to improve their writing and technical bid preparation skills.
5. Edit, proofread, and ensure the highest standards of grammar, spelling, and overall quality.
6. Organise and manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring the successful and timely submission of each bid.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Technical Bid Writer, ideally within an engineering or technical environment.
2. Strong technical awareness, with knowledge of internet and network-based solutions.
3. Exceptional written communication skills, with a mastery of English grammar, spelling, and vocabulary.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and collaborate with team members at various levels of experience.
