Responsibilities:
1. Lead or assist in bid management, from initial engagement to bid submission, coordinating various teams across the organization.
2. Drive bid production, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
3. Support sales efforts by developing and maintaining bid documentation and assisting in proposal production.
Essential Skills:
4. 2-4 years' bid management experience in the space industry.
5. Proficiency in managing bids of various sizes and complexities.
6. Strong sales and marketing acumen to construct competitive yet achievable bids.
7. Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Deep understanding of the space industry and passion for space exploration.
Desirable Skills:
9. Postgraduate degree in engineering or related field.
10. Experience in domains such as in-orbit servicing or space situational awareness.
11. Commercial awareness and project management expertise.
12. Familiarity with UKSA or ESA ecosystem and bidding processes.
Location:
Harwell Space Cluster, UK, with potential for international travel. You will be required in the office on a hybrid basis (2 days/week).
