Job Overview An opportunity has arisen for permanent full time Band 3 Health Care Support Worker within Grove Road District Nursing Team. The post holder will be responsible for carrying out designated work, much of which will involve direct patient care. This care will be delegated by registered nurses and the post-holder will be expected to work under the indirect supervision of trained staff. On occasions take responsibility to undertake a task from a direct referral, outside District Nursing Team. Full induction into posts will be supported, with opportunities for further career development. Qualification Credit Framework Level 111 (in Care / Health & Social Care) or working towards Knowledge of consent and patient confidentiality Understanding of role and function of Primary Health Care team Desirable criteria Evidence of completion of QCF at Level 2 Have an understanding of role and function of Health Services Understanding of risk management and health and safety issues Experience Essential criteria Previous/current role to demonstrate working with members of the public in a health care setting Desirable criteria Experience of working in care setting.
