Forklift and VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) Drive £15 - £16 Per hour Southampton - SO14 Responsibilities: Safely operate forklifts and VNA trucks to load, unload, and move materials and products within the warehouse. Transport products to designated storage areas and racks, ensuring proper placement to optimize space and safety. Ensure that products are moved and stacked correctly, following all safety and organizational guidelines. Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklift and VNA equipment, including checking fluid levels, tire conditions, and battery charge. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring that aisles and work areas are free of obstacles. Assist with inventory management by conducting routine stock checks and helping to locate products as required. Follow all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to company health and safety policies. Report any mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns to the maintenance team or supervisor promptly. Assist with unloading shipments and ensuring that all goods are checked and stored in the appropriate locations. Help with loading and preparing products for shipping, ensuring that all orders are correct and ready for dispatch. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations Requirements: Valid forklift and VNA driver license (certification required). Proven experience operating forklifts and VNA trucks in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
