Do you have an interest or passion in helping children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant in Basingstoke, who is available to provide support to students who have additional needs, which can include Autism, speech and language difficulties, global delay, and physical needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with Special Needs.
2. Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities and lessons to suit each student's individual needs.
3. Support students with managing their social, emotional, and behavioural development.
4. Support teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment to allow students to thrive.
5. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and updates as necessary.
6. Maintain safeguarding protocols and procedures at all times, and act on any concerns in a timely manner.
