We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Service Delivery Installation Management to work within a large UK Telecoms company, delivering a large-scale Smart Meter programme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with other Heads across the operations and Technical delivery teams, working with the Service excellence team internally and the customer; this role will report into the Director of Sites.
* Lead and manage an internal team and a contract partner installations team to deliver customers' smart meter installation plans on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.
* Oversee the implementation of installation contracts, ensuring that all parties meet their obligations within the stipulated timelines.
* Monitor ongoing performance and ensure compliance with terms, including deliverables, payment schedules, and service levels.
* Maintain records of all major contracts and related documentation.
* Identify potential risks associated with installation contracts and proactively develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
* Possess experience in network/infrastructure build and smart metering connectivity.
* Demonstrate proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing installation teams, with a focus on managing both internal teams and third-party contractors while maintaining a strong customer focus.
* Have experience working within the Smart Metering environment.
* Manage third parties to deliver critical activities.
