Roofing Contracts Manager | London & Home Counties (with travel to sites as required) | Full Time | £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
Our client is a fast-growing construction company delivering high-quality façade solutions across the UK. As part of their continued expansion, they are launching a Roofing Division to complement our existing façade and access services. They are committed to excellence, innovation, and exceptional service in everything they do.
They are seeking an experienced and commercially-minded Roofing Contracts Manager to lead and grow their new Roofing Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing roofing projects (both flat and pitched), excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to generate new business and client relationships.
This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to shape and expand the division from the ground up.
Are you the right person for the job?
* Full UK driving licence
* Minimum 5 years' experience in roofing contracts management, including both flat and pitched roofing systems (e.g., felt, liquid, asphalt, slate, tile)
* Strong knowledge of roofing installation methods, specifications, and health & safety standards
* Strong relationships with suppliers
* Proven track record of delivering multiple roofing projects on time and within budget
* Ability to lead teams and liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
* Commercial acumen and proven ability to bring in new business by identifying opportunities and securing new contracts
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills
What will your role look like?
* Manage end-to-end delivery of roofing projects (flat and pitched), ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency
* Oversee multiple projects concurrently across residential and commercial sites
* Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
* Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and progress reports
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and communication
* Proactively drive business development by bringing in new work, tendering for projects, and expanding our roofing client base
* Contribute to strategic planning for the roofing division’s growth and operational structure
* Support procurement, estimating, and material selection as needed
* Work closely with directors and other division managers to integrate services and share resources effectively
