We are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing routine and emergency repairs to equipment, fixtures, fittings and building systems. Their duties include responding to reports of broken or faulty items, conducting routine inspections of buildings and liaising with external specialists and contractors. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for upkeep of the building and its infrastructure. Their role is to maintain building operations and ensure that the facilities are always safe and functional Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, and other building systems Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems Review assigned work orders and track completion Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations Use established procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate effectively with team membersRequirements: High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience Relevant City and Guilds qualifications Experience in Facilities Management settings working on PPMS Full UK driving license Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting/carrying heavy loads (50 lbs. or more) Strong communication and organizational skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong problem-solving skills and inquisitive mindsetWorking Conditions: 1 in 6 week call-out schedule Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads and work at heights.
