Parks Engagement Officer37 hours per week (permanent)SCP 12-16: £27,269 to £29,572 plus Local Government Pension Scheme We are looking for an enthusiastic outdoor educator to fulfil this new role leading on engagement opportunities across the Council’s open spaces and planned environmental and growing initiatives. You will need to be confident developing and leading practical volunteering sessions and shaping new community engagement opportunities. Experience in securing small grants for grassroots projects would be beneficial. You will need to be a great communicator, taking a lead on communication for environmental and growing projects across the new Estates team. You will develop a program of events, activities and engagement across the open spaces, play areas and growing spaces of the Town. Whilst you will also shape learning initiatives from the Growing Hub (once developed) and through the Council’s allotment sites.
