Commercial Analyst Location: Colchester Job Type: Full-time / Permanent Annual Salary: Negotiable Reed in Colchester are delighted to be supporting our client seeking a bright and talented Commercial Analyst to support their commercial department. This role is based in Colchester and offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right approach and application to join an exciting company as they rapidly expand nationwide. Day-to-day of the role: Provide detailed analysis to the Commercial Managers who negotiate their agreements with suppliers Liaise directly with the Commercial Director and complete reporting tasks as required Work alongside the Product File team to create pricing structures that enable their sales staff to trade competitively Liaise with their Regional Directors and Branch Managers to provide them with ad-hoc information in a clear and concise format Calculate customer and supplier rebate accruals and attribute them accurately across their locations Compile and review data from a number of sources in an easily interpretable manner to identify key areas for potential improvement and growth within the business Balance multiple projects at once and ensure that deadlines are met. Required Skills & Qualifications: Confidence in Excel is a must Experience with Macros and coding in general would be beneficial Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Phocas, Qlik, or Alteryx is preferred Key personality traits include a keen eye for detail, the ability to remain calm under pressure, a proactive attitude to research, and an enquiring but logical approach to data analysis.
