This Part Time, Permanent role offers a 21 hour contract, providing an ideal work-life balance opportunity for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading a small team, promoting excellent customer service standards, and contributing to the overall success of the charity retail operation.
About the Role
* Leadership: Lead and motivate a small team of staff and volunteers to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
* Customer Service: Foster a positive shopping environment, ensuring customers receive outstanding service and support.
* Retail Operations: Manage day-to-day shop operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and cash handling.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive sales growth through effective merchandise presentation, pricing strategies, and customer engagement initiatives.
2. Maintain high standards of shop appearance, ensuring a welcoming and well-organized shopping environment.
3. Recruit, train, and develop staff and volunteers to enhance their skills and confidence.
4. Foster strong relationships with colleagues, volunteers, and external partners to promote collaborative working practices.
Requirements
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing small teams or supervisory roles.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others, building strong relationships and fostering a positive team culture.
* Proven track record of achieving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction in a retail environment.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
The salary for this role is approximately £28,000 per annum.
