MISSIONS
Smulders is looking for one Transport & Planning Manager.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Smulders Projects UK:
1. Planning: The T&P Manager manages the overview of the general planning within SPU. He looks for all the right information. Within SPU, the T&P Manager is also responsible for rolling out a uniform planning system within the various production units. The goal is to arrive at a uniform planning system so that the schedules of the various departments can easily be linked.
2. Production progress: The T&P Manager provides a uniform system for monitoring the current status of production and projects. The progress system should enable everyone to view the current status of the production departments. The T&P Manager checks that the progress is filled in in a timely and correct manner by those responsible within production.
3. Reporting of results: The T&P Manager analyses the state of production on a weekly basis. This analysis is distributed weekly and discussed with the production managers. The T&P Manager processes the data in clear graphs so that it is easy to read trends and results.
4. Management of the transport team: The external transport department is responsible for all transports outside SPU's production halls. These transports are done with crawler cranes, tower cranes, mobile cranes, Terberg, elephant, SPMTs, ships or pontoons.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Qualifications: Master degree in Supply Chain Management.
Experiences: At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Skills: Extensive experience and proven competence in the planning, risk assessment, and safe implementation of lift plans. Understanding and extensive knowledge of computer systems such as ERP (Internal software) and planning systems. Should be experienced in leading a team (1 to 50 persons).
