* Ensure that all critical process control parameters are maintained within specification, and to ensure that all appropriate actions are taken to supply a quality finished product to the customer.
* Identify any variance to critical specifications and agree appropriate action with production and engineering teams.
* Provide the link between the Quality, Production and Engineering departments by analysing Statistical Process Control data in order to deliver support relating to the appropriateness of actions regarding non-conformance.
* Contribute as an integral part of the Quality Department resource, in order for the Site to achieve Compliance to all Industry / Crown Quality & Food Safety Standards and Controls (for example by performing internal audits within the internal audit plan).
The successful candidates will either be Degree level educated, or a qualified Engineer, with a proven quality background. Applicants should have in-depth knowledge of ISO Systems, Statistical Process Control, HACCP principles and Continuous Improvement techniques. Preferably you will have experience of working in a high-speed production environment although with these positions comprehensive training will be given to successful candidates.
