**Communities Development Lead Role**
Summary: Lead strategic planning for programme and partnership growth in the Community Youth Sector, driving service development and income generation to enable growth of youth provision.
Join our team as a Communities Development Lead, working in a hybrid environment with a focus on driving service development across our Community teams in Cumbria and South Yorkshire. As part of the Management team, you will work with the Area Team Operational Managers and Head of Service to lead on strategic planning for programme and partnership growth in line with income generation. You will also lead on service-wide special projects, such as Youth Participation and Volunteering.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Drive service development across Community teams in Cumbria and South Yorkshire
* Lead on strategic planning for programme and partnership growth
* Develop and implement service-wide special projects
* Work with stakeholders to drive service development and income generation
**Essential Qualifications and Experience:**
* Educated to degree standard or equivalent, or have substantial work experience in a similar role
* Current full UK driving license
* Experience of working with public and third sector environments
* Substantial knowledge and experience of the Children & Young People sector
* Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills
* Knowledge of sector-influencing organisations and inter-agency commissioning environments
* Proven track record of securing funding from various sources
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with sensitive issues
* Competent user of email, internet, spreadsheets, word processing, and databases
