Job Title: Maths Teacher Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Job Type: Contract position starting ASAP until May 2025 with full-time hours Salary: £150 - £180 Per day (negotiable based on experience and travel) Job Duties: Deliver engaging and informative maths lessons to students Create and implement lesson plans in line with the curriculum Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback Support and guide students to achieve their academic goals Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning environment Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in Mathematics or related field Proven experience teaching maths at the secondary level Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to inspire and motivate students Education: Degree in Mathematics or related field Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a secondary school Demonstrated success in improving student achievement Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the national curriculum for maths Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students Proficient in using educational technology in the classroom Effective classroom management skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) support Experience with exam board requirements and assessments Working Conditions: Full-time contract position Regular school hours with some additional planning and assessment time Collaborative work environment with supportive colleagues Ongoing professional development opportunities All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
