Job summary Drake Medical Alliance Primary Care Network (PCN) is looking for a self-motivated, disciplined, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an PCN Operations Manager & Digital Transformation Lead. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the PCN Clinical Director, our 5 Practice Managers and our various PCN teams to coordinate, streamline and shape the strategic and operational aspects of the PCN. The post holder will have line management responsibility for Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) staff and will work to ensure services are delivered in line with targets and to the highest quality. This is a high profile role which aims to ensure the network can achieve its long-term strategic objectives and deliver its agreed operational outputs in a safe and effective working environment. Main duties of the job Support the effective operational management of the PCN, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities in collaboration with the Network practices. Collaborate with the PCN Clinical Director, Practice Managers and PCN teams to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and efficient use of resources. Oversee organisational, administrative, and estates management tasks to ensure optimal functioning of the network. Responsible for overseeing PCN Team Leaders as they manage workflows of their teams and ensure high-quality delivery of services. Contribute to the development and implementation of operational systems and processes to enhance PCN efficiency. As Digital Transformation Lead, to liaise with Practice Managers and IT Leads, our own staff and wider Plymouth/Devon colleagues to ensure that we co-ordinate and collaborate to best effect. We are a plural Practice PCN with 5 independent Practices arranged in a vertical slice through Plymouth. The PCN Operations Manager is in the centre of this effort, seeking compromise, mediating differences and ensuring that our centrally employed ARRS staff can contribute effectively to our Practices while retaining their own sense of being a team. To seek out, facilitate and drive co-operation, co-ordination and collaboration between the 5 Practices and the PCN. To manage the PCN budget, working with the Finance Manager to ensure that various streams of money are aligned with planned expenditure. To ensure relevant insurances and NHS pension access is maintained for all PCN staff. To organise, plan and chair weekly PCN Management meetings and Monthly Board meetings. To facilitate the career development and advancement of all PCN staff and to ensure that Team Leaders are growing in their abilities and confidence. Working with those Team Leaders; Oversee the PCN staff appointment systems, to ensure accurate data capture and adherence to national data rules and standards. Using digital systems and data to conduct regular reviews and audit of appointment activity, reviewing demand and capacity trends and making recommendations as appropriate. To participate in the implementation and maintenance of all associated requirements, upgrades, security and services supporting the PCNs IT systems. Ensure completion annual appraisals and conduct regular 1:1s for staff with line management responsibility.
