Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Control Systems Engineer at Oasis Software Solutions in Monmouth, with flexibility for some remote work. The Control Systems Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as process control, control systems design, electrical engineering, systems engineering, and troubleshooting in the day-to-day operations. Job Role Functions and Skills Assist with feasibility studies of control systems, identifying and proposing control system and automation solutions and presented via professional level documentation. This could cover hardware specifications, control system architectures, control philosophies and system migrations. Produce Functional Design Specifications to meet project requirements, to define PLC and HMI/SCADA hardware and software configuration. Produce detailed design of the PLC/SCADA/HMI software to assist with configuration tasks and activities. Develop the PLC configuration to meet the requirements of the project as defined by the customer, FDS and/or other design requirements. Develop and undertake internal testing of PLC/SCADA/HMI software. Perform customer witnessed testing of PLC/SCADA/HMI at a Client's premises. Implemente/modify PLC/SCADA/HMI software on a client's system, in a live operational environment. Undertake commissioning activities on a client site to ensure PLC/SCADA/HMI software performs in line with project requirements. Produce all project documentation including FDS, detailed design specifications, I/O Schedule, Operator Manual to a high level of quality and professionalism. Assist with post project close out and evaluation. Contribute to a continual improvement of projects and associated processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Formal training in PLC/SCADA systems such as Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi and Schneider to a certified level would be highly advantageous.
