Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join a Primary School we are working with in Luton. The candidate will be working in the school's Year 2 classroom on a full-time or part-time basis (between 2 to 5 days of your choice). The role will start January 2025 until the end of spring term.
Duties
1. Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the curriculum requirements and cater to the diverse needs of students.
2. Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
3. Manage student behaviour through effective strategies, ensuring a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere.
4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their educational development.
5. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behaviour, fostering a collaborative relationship.
6. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
Skills
1. Strong behaviour management skills to maintain a conducive learning environment.
2. Background in early childhood education is advantageous, enabling effective engagement with younger learners.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students, parents, and colleagues.
4. Ability to educate students in a manner that is engaging, informative, and tailored to their individual learning needs.
