Role Objective

Due to our continued growth, we have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join the HSEQ team in Warrington. You will predominantly be involved with dealing with clients, maintaining high standards of Health and Safety across our client sites in line with organisational policies, processes, legal requirements and best practice.
Responsibilities:
* Manage, maintain and implement high health and safety standards across multiple sites.
* Ensure compliance with all ISO and policy requirements.
* Take a lead in identifying any risks or non-compliance and develop actions to minimise these risks.
* Review, update and implement HSEQ policies and procedures.
* Conduct HSEQ site audits at client sites.
* Conduct sub-contractor audits in relation to any HSEQ matters.
* Help manage business HSEQ training matrix including evaluating business training needs, coordinating training, planning refresher training.
* Record and investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, working alongside the Health and Safety administrator.
* Develop personal competence and liaise with external bodies to keep up to date with best practice.
* Attend client meetings and represent the company in a HSEQ capacity.
* Carry out any other duties appropriate to the post as deemed appropriate by line manager/Senior Management.
Person Specification
* NEBOSH General certificate.
* Full UK Driver’s License.
* Experience as a SHEQ advisor or lead.
* Experience within the Facilities management industry.
* Experience and understanding of ISO certification, Health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
* Knowledge of auditing principles and practices.
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team.
* High personal standards showing drive and efficiency in SHEQ.
* Resilient, organised, professional, accepts responsibility, influencing, building relationships.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills.
