Job Description Our Customer Support and Training function are currently recruiting for a Wildcat Integrated Support and Training (WIST) Service Delivery Manager to support the WIST Senior Service Delivery Manager in the successful delivery of the WIST contractual commitments. In addition to this, you will also provide leadership for the WIST Service Management Organisation (SMO), and guidance to the integrated supporting functions that constitute the WIST Integrated Project Team (IPT), manage, and report on the performance of the contract both internally and to the customer, the UK MOD DE&S and the Front Line Command (Navy & Army). Please note that this role is a JFF Level 7 (PPM.) What you’ll be doing as the WIST Service Delivery Manager; Manage an availability service for the MOD Wildcat Fleet, this includes management, technical support, spares support elements, aircraft provision and training to ensure that each service element is delivered to schedule Ensure all the contracted tasks are delivered through the utilisation of multi-functional and cross discipline integrated project teams Ensure contractual obligations are discharged and that the required service levels are achieved within company budgetary constraints When making decisions on contract deliverables be cognisant of the contract turnover and profitability targets that could be impacted Management of all activities relating to the submission of key deliverables to the Wildcat DT Be responsible for the management of the WIST programme, representing the Senior Service Delivery Manager and the Head of UK MOD ISO’s Promote and encourage a joint and partnered approach to business with the customer and key industrial partners and foster appropriate working relationships at all levels Support the team SMEs to ensure all risks associated with the individual projects are monitored and controlled appropriately Agree schedules and priorities with the customer What we need from you; Qualified to Degree or equivalent level in both business management and a relevant technical discipline or a significant knowledge of aerospace, defence and related business areas, gained through at least 10 years direct experience Team player, able to communicate effectively with colleagues, Prime Contractor, Subcontractors and Key Stakeholders within the Military Customer community at all levels Knowledge of the Integrated Operational Support construct and associated support disciplined Detailed knowledge of military aircraft operations, manufacturing and support processes Experience in negotiating the technical elements of subcontracts and subsequent subcontract management Experience of dealing with the relevant DT organisations of the DE&S A good understanding of support and programme management (Business management of programmes over £100M) Excellent IT systems skills including MS Office, performance tools and SharePoint Security Clearance You must be eligible for full security clearance.
