Job Specification: Accounts Assistant Location: Belfast Hours:Full Time The Role: The Accounts Assistant will be an integral part of the finance team and report on a day-to-day basis to the Finance Manager.

They will have full responsibility for preparing the statutory returns for review prior to submission of all our entities.
They will have several other responsibilities and deliverables as detailed below.
The main duties of the role are below but not exhaustive: Assist the Finance Manager with the day-to-day activities of the finance team as required.
Process Salary recharges and Contra Charge invoices for each entity Post Salary allocations for Monthly and weekly payroll Prepare and submit CIS Returns and prepare RCT returns as required.
Prepare VAT returns for review by Management Accountant Responsible for all bank and credit card reconciliations including the processing of sundry payments and receipts.
Process the weekly payroll for each relevant entity.
Prepare and post the month end journals for prepayments and fixed assets and internal plant Reconcile the intercompany transactions.
Maintain the H.P.
schedules and reconcile to the trial balance.
Maintain the CITB training grant schedules and reclaim schedule.
Credit account applications Attendance at weekly finance meeting Any other duty as and when required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.
