Zest Education are looking to recruit a RE teacher for a school located in Erdington. The role is full time from January 2025, until at least Easter, with a possible extension if the fit is right. The school is a fast paced high achieving secondary looking to maintain their already good standards. They believe in trying to help and support each student into becoming promising young adults. It is also situated in a popular area, so is easily accessible by private or public transport. The successful candidate will deliver high quality lessons which are creative and thought provoking, while making sure all pupils stay on track. The ideal candidate will have:
* A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
* A strong passion for RE and a substantial knowledge of the subject across KS3, KS4 and KS5
* A strong desire to be part of the wider department
* The ability to control the classroom and the behaviour of the students
* A creative mind with the ability to adapt lessons as and when needed to suit the needs of the students.
