We are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established wholesale and distribution business that has recently undergone an exciting transformation. With fresh leadership and a renewed vision for growth, they are now seeking a motivated Part-Time Sales Administrator to join their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for customer service and sales administration to play a key role in supporting business operations. You will be the first point of contact for B2B customers both across the UK and internationally, assisting with order processing, pricing enquiries, stock availability, and logistics coordination. You will work closely with the senior management and warehouse team to ensure the smooth and efficient fulfilment of customer orders and help maintain the high service standards the company is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing sales orders received via email and telephone.
* Responding to incoming calls and enquiries from B2B customers.
* Creating and issuing delivery notes.
* Liaising with the warehouse team to coordinate order dispatch and fulfilment.
* Maintaining and updating order control sheets.
* Generating invoices for outgoing orders and raising credit notes when required.
* Assisting with the export of goods, including preparation of customs documentation.
* Supporting inventory and stock control processes.
* Preparing and maintaining back-order reports.
* Posting updates and announcements on the company website.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a Sales Administration or similar role.
* Excellent attention to detail, particularly when inputting order data.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office and internal order processing systems.
* A proactive, team-player mindset.
* Experience of using a company CRM system.
Desirable (but not essential):
* Knowledge of export procedures and customs documentation.
* Experience working within a B2B wholesale or distribution environment.
