Summary The Physician Practice Manager/RN works collaboratively with practice physicians, staff and hospital service line leadership to ensure the efficient and effective daily operation of the physician practices. Oversees all practice operations, workflows and performance to ensure policies and procedures are in effect and to achieve expert care, superior service and optimal practice productivity. This position requires critical thinking skills and working special projects as assigned. The Physician Practice Manager/RN supports the organization’s mission, vision and values through leading by example as well as coaching and mentoring staff. Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree in nursing required. Minimum Work Experience 3 years medical, physician practice, clinic or hospital management experience. Specific physician practice experience preferred (i.e., OB/GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, Physiatry, Endocrinology, etc.). Required Licenses/Certifications Licensed in the State of Vermont BLS Certification through American Heart Association. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Knowledge of practice management or administration. Ability to interpret, implement and develop policies and procedures. Ability to build positive working relationships with staff and stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced negotiating and influencing skills.
