Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The successful candidate must be highly motivated, a team player and have a desire to provide safe and effective medicines to patients in an acute hospital setting. You will be required to final check and release aseptically prepared medicines prepared in accordance with standard operating procedures.
You will have a range of post registration experience in hospital pharmacy which will ideally include experience within a production environment.

Training and Qualifications
Essential criteria
* B.Pharm /Bsc (Pharmacy) / MPharm
* Current GPhC registration
* Working towards or completed post graduate qualification to at least diploma level or equivalent experience
* Further training in GMP/pharmaceutical production
Desirable criteria
* Evidence of management experience
* Evidence of further education e.g. Pharmaceutical Technology and / or Quality Assurance

* Post registration hospital experience
* Experience of technical support services
* Knowledge of and understanding of formulation, preparation and administration of manufactured products
* Current familiarity with MHRA standards and other regulatory authorities
* Knowledge and understanding of professional and statutory requirements relating to medicines and production, NHS structure, Code of Ethics for pharmacists
