A media relations coordinator role has come up at a highly regarded US Law firm due to growth. The role will work closely with the communications manager on external communications across Europe and will play a critical part in executing their communications strategy.
The team are looking for someone who has experience with legal communications, and they need to possess excellent writing skills.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain relationships with European media outlets and journalists
- Draft press releases and media pitches, coordinating media outreach efforts
- Create, edit and proofread content including press releases, newsletters, social media updates
- Conduct research on industry trends including competitor activities and media coverage in the European market
The candidate needs to have 3-4 years of experience in a communications role preferably within legal or professional services. If you have worked in a PR legal agency, that would be desirable.
