Job Description
We are seeking reliable and self-motivated individuals to join our Grounds Maintenance team within the Land Service Team. As a Seasonal Operative – Driver, your primary responsibility will be to assist in grass cutting and general maintenance of various grass areas under the care of Stirling Council. This seasonal position will run from April to mid-October 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain grass cutting machinery efficiently.
Contribute to the upkeep of grass areas across the Stirling Council region.
Work collaboratively with other services when required.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of health and safety protocols.
Qualifications and Experience:
A full driving license is a mandatory requirement.
Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a related field is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Adaptability to varying outdoor working conditions and practices.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
