Project Planner
Remote with Bi-Weekly Site Visit
We are recruiting for an experienced Project Planner to join our client’s Project Controls team, supporting critical projects in the defence and nuclear sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organisation that values flexibility, innovation, and work-life balance.
About the Role
This role is primarily remote-based, requiring one day on-site every two weeks in the South West. It offers the chance to work on challenging and high-profile projects while enjoying the freedom of flexible working.
As a Project Planner, you will:
* Develop and maintain project programmes.
* Conduct integrity checks on supply chain and third-party schedules.
* Perform schedule control, analysis, and recovery planning across all project lifecycle stages.
* Produce performance management reports and ensure effective data management.
* Support with Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis -training provided
You will support on planning and scheduling major infrastructure, new build, and refurbishment projects, including those with complex, non-routine requirements. From building schedules “from first principles” to producing risk-adjusted programmes, you’ll bring innovation and reliability to every project.
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* Proficiency in industry-standard planning tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Asta Powerproject.
* Experience with Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) is desirable (training provided for Risk tools)
* Strong knowledge of planning principles
* A collaborative approach to building relationships and problem-solving.
* The ability to obtain Security Clearance is a must.
