Key responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the engineering team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
* Establish and execute the product development strategy, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
* Create and implement a best practice engineering vision to improve business performance.
* Drive continuous improvement in design processes, tools, and methodologies.
* Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators.
Requirements:
* Experience in product development and mechanical design with electronics and firmware.
* Relevant engineering degree, Masters or Ph.D. preferred.
* Proven track record of leading successful projects from concept to production.
* Exceptional leadership, team-building, and project management skills.
* Excellent practical engineering knowledge and problem-solving skills.
