We have an opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant to join our busy Purchasing team.
The successful candidate’s duties will include chasing suppliers for delivery dates, keeping our system updated with information received back from suppliers and checking order confirmations against purchase orders. In addition to this, answering calls/emails from the Call Centre to assist with delivery date enquiries will be required, as will general administrative work and assisting other members of the Purchasing team when required.
Applicants must be PC literate with good keyboard skills, numerate, have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Previous experience in a Purchasing/Admin role would be an advantage, but full training will be given.
