Guildhall Feoffment Community Primary provide established wrap around care at our before and after school club, ‘The Mix’ which is open to our children aged 4-11. You will be contracted to work during term time, however there may be an option to cover some holiday periods, should there be sufficient need. It is important to us that our wrap around care provides a relaxing environment where children can play games, socialise and enjoy a snack. Can you work with our team to develop a nurturing, safe and enjoyable start and end to the day for our children? As Supervising Play Leader, you will be responsible for supervising other Play Leads and ensuring that the club is safe. You will liaise with the school office administrator for the club to ensure that you have up to date attendance registers for each session and to prepare weekly food orders. You will set up the activities each session and work with the team to create a rota of activities over the week. You will also be required to open and lock up the school where other staff are not available. Are you able to offer: dedication, enthusiasm and reliability experience of planning activities for children aged 4-11 an ability to work well as part of a team excellent communication skills imagination and creativity empathy and understanding basic IT skills to support children with accessing a laptops or iPad willingness to undertake training ability to work on initiative whilst ensuring you are within club policies.
