Technology will be a fundamental driver across all aspects of this transformation and as a result the technology leaderships team have identified the need to recruit a UI/UX and CX Designer.

You will have extensive experience as a designer with a focus on client experience as well as a solid foundation of UI/UX experience. Working to establish a framework of collaboratively working with clients, client-facing teams, and internal and external developers to define and work on requirements for the direction of the group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital landscape of our services. Your expertise will ensure that our digital interfaces are not only visually appealing but also intuitive and user-friendly, enhancing the overall client experience.
Your role will involve conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and designing high-fidelity mock-ups. You will be responsible for ensuring that the user interface of our applications meets the highest standards of usability and accessibility. Additionally, you will facilitate workshops and design sprints to gather feedback and iterate on designs, ensuring that the final product aligns with the needs and expectations of our clients.
In this capacity, you will also be expected to stay abreast of the latest design trends and best practices, continuously seeking ways to innovate and improve our digital offerings. Your ability to think strategically and execute meticulously will be crucial in driving the success of our technology initiatives and, ultimately, the transformation of our entire group.
In addition, the job holder will be expected to support the business where necessary with ad-hoc activities aligned with the overall technology and wider transformation delivery activity.
Key responsibilities:
* Collaborate with clients, client-facing teams, and internal and external developers to define and work on requirements.
* Conduct user research to gather insights and inform design decisions.
* Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups.
* Ensure the user interface of applications meets high standards of usability and accessibility.
* Facilitate workshops and design sprints to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions align with business goals and technical constraints.
* Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, effectively communicating the value and rationale behind design decisions.
* Stay updated with the latest design trends and best practices.
* Innovate and improve digital offerings continuously.
* Think strategically and execute meticulously to drive the success of technology initiatives and the transformation of the group.
* Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles with consideration to UI/UX and CX in their development of applications
* Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all digital products.
* Deliver multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design work
Personal Profile:
* UI/UX and CX experience across multiple projects from inception to full adoption
* Experience of conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and designing high-fidelity mock-ups
* Drive, passion, and enthusiasm (for success and quality)

Nice to have skills:
* Understanding of the Financial Services industry and Fund Administration business would be an advantage
* Understanding of business improvement tools such as Lean and Six Sigma would be an advantage
* Microsoft 365 / Power Apps / Power Automate awareness/hands on experience
* Developer or Business analyst background with experience of solving business problems
