Travelport is the brains behind lots of your travel bookings- plane, car or hotel. Our technology is used to book that magical holiday, infamous bachelorette party or long overdue school reunion. While we can’t solve mosquito bites or lost luggage, we can simplify a lot of the technical parts of travel, and we’re looking for the best thinkers to help us do it.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a huge variety of data and the latest technologies. This position will suit someone looking to start their career in a role where they will have a real business impact from day 1. An ideal candidate will be pro-active, bringing their own ideas and looking to actively contribute to the success of Travelport.
Your role in action:
•Deliver innovative new data solutions to support our various airline, hotel, car rental and other travel industry partners.
•Take ownership of analytics development in our AWS environment.
•Lead the implementation of end-to-end analytical models and automated pipelines.
•Build and collaborate with commercial and technical teams to deliver data insight solutions.
•Apply the appropriate data visualizations and illustrations for easy comprehension by non-technical stakeholders.
•Learn continuously, leveraging training resources and self-directed training, sharing knowledge and skills with others.
•Create effective presentations on the analytical findings and ideas for internal and external customers.
Could this be you?
•A degree in the information technology field or relevant industry certification (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Math, Science, Engineering)
•Strong SQL skills for querying large datasets and optimizing performance.
•Proficiency in Apache Airflow and Python for data transformation and pipeline automation.
•Experience building cloud-based BI solutions, ideally in AWS (S3, Athena, Redshift, QuickSight)
•Excellent communication skills and a willingness to engage with a variety of stakeholders across the business.
•Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
•You have an analytical mindset with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
•Knowledge of and experience data visualization tools like QuickSight, QlikSense, Tableau or Power BI
•Comfortable working across multiple geographies with a good understanding of cultural differences in different markets.
Nice to have:
•Experience in the Travel Industry
•Other Scripting languages
•Experience in providing data insights for Advertising and Sales teams
