About the role Do you have a strong passion for providing exceptional customer service? We are looking for someone to join our Direct Mortgage Sales & Mortgage Retentions team at our Head Office, IP3 9SJ. (Hybrid working available). We are searching for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who will provide effective customer service to all the Society's mortgage customers by assisting them with their borrowing needs and ensuring that all service standards are achieved. You will take satisfaction in supporting the team with achieving Society targets for Direct new business and mortgage retentions. Salary and working hours: Annual salary of £25,111. Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (35 hours a week) Hybrid working available upon successful completion of probationary period. Your day-to-day activities Supporting the accurate and efficient delivery and administration of the Society’s mortgage maturities. Assessing requests to vary existing mortgage contracts. Ensuring all account and product changes are processed accurately and within the required timescales. Ensuring eligible borrowers within the SVR mortgage book receive effective pro-active communications on alternative products and be the first point of contact for execution-only non-maturity product switches and contract variations. Ensuring all new business enquiries are dealt with effectively and efficiently and within required timescales. Reviewing and vetting enquiries alongside the Society’s criteria, before passing good quality leads to a Mortgage Adviser. Supporting the Mortgage Advisers with ongoing applications. Ensuring ongoing mortgage applications receive effective pro-active communications on application status and additional requirements. About you As a Mortgage Consultant, you will: Be able to demonstrate a reasonable level of competency in Maths and English, ideally at the GCSE level. Have a good understanding of customer service principles. CeMap Qualified (or willingness to study) Confident, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service via all communication channels. Have a positive, can-do attitude while displaying strong organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
