This entry-level position is perfect for those eager to kickstart their career in a unique and diverse environment that encompasses Engineering, Testing & Logistics. The role involves supporting our Laboratory Operations team with key tasks that will enable our product testing teams to operate at optimum efficiency and guarantee service delivery to our clients. Responsibilities: Assist in coordinating daily operations support operations, including Sample collection, and inventory management. Track and monitor Samples to ensure on-time delivery. Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to address and resolve any Operations support issues. Help prepare and process shipping documents, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices. Maintain accurate records of shipments and Operations support activities. Support the Operations support team with data entry and updates in Operations support software systems. Assist in managing warehouse inventory, including stock counts and replenishments. Participate in regular audits and inventory checks. Follow company safety protocols and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the operations support manager or supervisor. Assist with collecting and disposal of client samples. To be successful in the role, you will have: Completion of higher-level education (A Level, NVQ, BTEC or similar) within a relative subject area. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Familiarity with Operations support software systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) is an advantage but not essential. Proficiency in using basic tools, including but not limited to power tools, lifting equipment. Working Conditions: Office and stores environment. Will require occasional lifting and moving of packages. Will require working outdoors. Will require guiding vehicles on and off site as necessary.
