Overview:
The Creative Director is responsible for spearheading the agency's creative output in partnership with the Managing Partner leading on strategy. We want a passionate, visionary, conceptual thinker that can articulate their vision with best in class, platform specific, effective creative outputs.
They will be able to conceptualise creative platforms quickly from strategy, ideate around problems and take pride in developing campaigns that impact our clients organic social content, paid media ads and their wider brand ecosystems. They will be working across fast, dynamic pitches and multiple client verticals.
Focused on harnessing the power of creativity, you will build and lead a team of designers, videographers and content creators to develop engaging advertising/content that is at the cutting edge of platforms and resonates with target audiences.
Key responsibilities:
* Direct the creative execution of multi-platform, social-first campaigns, ensuring they resonate with target audiences and align with strategic goals.
* Work closely with Strategy and Creative Strategy teams to refine and implement campaign visions, creating content that is innovative, engaging, and impactful.
* Supervise a wide range of content creation, including UGC, live action shoots, animation, motion design, and graphic design, ensuring high quality and consistency across all outputs.
* Stay current with social media trends and platform updates, leveraging this knowledge to produce content that stands out and engages effectively.
* Lead and nurture a dynamic creative team, fostering an environment of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
* Manage relationships with an external network of third parties and freelancers.
Background:
* Understand social-first content and platforms inside out.
* 7+ years of experience in creative roles.
* A portfolio that shows your ability to deliver concepts, campaigns and social media content.
* Expertise in the fundamentals of design, typography and production.
* A passion for and up-to-date understanding of social trends and pop culture.
* Full experience across Adobe Suite.
* You have led a team before and are passionate about fostering an honest, proactive and transparent team environment.
* You understand the technical requirements that content must meet for performance on social media.
* A collaborative team player who enjoys working within their direct team and the wider marketing organisation.
