In the heart of the City Centre, Hotel Indigo Exeter has been lovingly restored and converted from its department store origins. The hotel was once the home of Colson's, a department store which opened in 1792 by local miller Mrs Colson. The hotel staying true to its roots now boasts 104 stylish bedrooms designed to honour elements of its historic past.
Role Responsibilities
You’ll assist the Spa Manager in the day-to-day running of the Leisure and Spa facilities ensuring a consistently high level of service is offered to our guests. You’ll go above and beyond to provide experiences that will delight our guests and support the business in building regular, repeat custom.
* Carry out a range of treatments to an extremely high standard, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
* Mentor and support any new Therapists who join the team in all treatment procedures & products.
* Achieve consistently high retail targets.
* Build a regular client base.
* Ensure treatment rooms are maintained to a consistently high standard.
* To ensure high standards of cleanliness and service are achieved in all designated housekeeping areas.
* To understand the impact of effective cost control while undertaking the role.
* To ensure that a good level of product and local knowledge for guests when requested.
* To ensure co-operation and compliance with all legislation relevant to your role in the business.
* To ensure that Learning and Development is undertaken to enable you fulfil your job role.
* To ensure that all complaints are handled appropriately, escalating wherever necessary to the Spa Manager or Duty Manager in their absence.
* Complete out any other reasonable tasks requested by Management Team to aid the smooth running of the Spa department.
