The Opportunity
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to take on the role of Practice Manager at an innovative FinTech brand making huge strides in the personal tax/accounting space.
We’re seeking an ambitious and talented Chartered Accountant to lead Wallet Tax into a huge growth period.
About Wallet Tax
There is a huge gap in the market within the UK for a modern FinTech brand to support consumers with their tax and accounting affairs.
Today's market isn’t catering well for these people; tax and finance is a complex area, typically covered by larger corporations or small accountancy firms, both of whom have a B2B mentality.
These companies offer a poor customer experience and speak to customers with industry jargon.
We're on a mission to change that, and create something incredible. We strive to offer a market-leading financial wellbeing service with the utmost convenience and unrivalled customer satisfaction.
We've initially launched with tax rebates for PAYE employees (work related expenses, travel, subsistence etc) but will be moving quickly into self assessments, personal tax advice, will writing and much much more.
Our founder
Our founder has spent the past 10 years launching and building global technology companies to multi-billion dollar valuation, and recently built and sold TaxHoot, one of the fastest growing consumer accounting firms in the UK.
The role
As we grow, we're looking to hire a dedicated Practice Manager, initially supporting us to build the systems and processes required to offer customers the best service possible.
This individual will be managing the day-to-day workings of the accounting operation, working alongside our existing accounting team to ensure compliance, and working with the CEO to explore new revenue streams.
Initially, this role will be offered on a two-day per week, 6-month freelance contract. The expectation will be that at least one day per week will be spent at our offices in Tenterden.
As we grow the business, we anticipate the need to hire this individual full-time into the business in early 2025.
